The success of the ICMRBS comes directly from those who organize the meetings. At the 2024 ICMRBS meeting in Seoul, South Korea, the ICMRBS Council will review proposals for the 2028 meeting. Persons who are interested in making a proposal are strongly encouraged to contact the ICMRBS Chairperson, Muriel Delepierre (Pasteur Institute), well in advance of the August 2024 Seoul meeting.

Proposals are best made in person and should cover:

• the proposed location (by tradition, the 2028 meeting should be in the Americas, but alternatives will be considered)
• composition of the organizing and program committees
• the projected size of the meeting
• facilities available at the proposed location (lecture rooms, space for posters, dining, housing for students and other attendees)
• projected budget
• funding possibilities
