The success of the ICMRBS comes directly from those who organize the meetings. At the 2026 ICMRBS meeting in Davos, Switzerland, the ICMRBS Council will review proposals for the 2030 meeting. Persons who are interested in making a proposal are strongly encouraged to contact the ICMRBS Chairperson, Kevin Gardner (CUNY Advanced Science Research Center), well in advance of the August 2026 Davos meeting.
Proposals are best made in person and should cover:
- the proposed location (by tradition, the 2030 meeting should be in Asia/Oceania; past meetings have been held in Japan, India, Australia, and South Korea. Applications to return to these countries or new ones are encouraged!)
- composition of the organizing and program committees
- the projected size of the meeting
- facilities available at the proposed location (lecture rooms, space for posters, dining, housing for students and other attendees)
- projected budget
- funding possibilities
